Véronique Trillet-Lenoir, professor of oncology at the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and head of  the medical oncology department of the South Lyon Hospital Complex, explains how new treatments and care system (targeted therapies, oral route, follow-up by city practitioners) often transformed cancer in a chronic pathology.
